WAR IN UKRAINE: April 18, 2022

BREAKING NEWS: The western city of Lviv has been hit by as many as five missiles. Seven people were killed in this morning’s missile attacks on Lviv. Eleven people were injured including a child, according to the Lviv mayor. He added that several windows were broken at a hotel where many migrants were staying. The mayor added that 40 vehicles were damaged.
He added that a 3-year-old boy from Kharkiv was among those injured “Three-year-old Myron and his mother fled Kharkiv to escape the Russian war, but a Russian missile found them in Lviv.”

The missiles that struck Lviv on Monday reportedly travelled more than 1,700 kilometres from near the Caspian Sea, according to Lviv’s regional governor. It’s a reminder that without the ability to safeguard its own skies, no region of Ukraine remains safe.
